WiSE opened its doors on the 1st October 2003. Leeds City Council and the
North East Primary Care Trust have provided funding for 3 years and the Community
Involvement Team provided £5,000 to enable us to set up our office.
WiSE is a voluntary Organisation comprising a Committee of Management and
Neil Bellamy is the new co-ordinator.
WiSE aims to identify, respond and provide a relevant and meaningful service
to the elderly. We aim to develop a lasting relationship with our clients
and introduce volunteers to enable the elderly to remain within their own
community.
We respect the experience and skills our staff and volunteers bring to WiSE.
Our goal is to work together to improve the quality of life of our clients.
